Extra Info- Mink was recently returned to the rescue due to no fault of her own. Mink is a more woah than go mare that will go out by herself with some convincing but prefers to go out in a group. She does neck rein and move off leg. She should do fine with a confident beginner rider. She is VERY low in a herd setting and does get bullied by other horses. We have started her on equioxx just to help with age appropriate arthritis.

Extra Info- Shadow was surrendered to the rescue after retiring from playing polo. Shadow is a very broke mare that neck reins and moves well of leg. She walk, trot, lopes off beautifully. She was surrendered due to being "cinchy", Shadow can be a bit reactive when being saddled. We have treated her for ulcers, had her adjusted, and seen by our vet. At this point our vet believes this behavior has become a learned behavior as she does not show any pain when being backed or ridden. With consistent work this behavior does get better, but when given time off it seems to reoccur.

Extra Info- Mirage was an auction save that came in with her stud colt on her side who was very lethargic and struggling with diarrhea. Mirage is a kind mare that needs caught up on some maintenance. Mirage is not broke to ride but now that her foal has been weaned we have started her on her ground work for saddle training. She is gaited and will need to go to a home that is willing to continue her training.
